We were very impressed with final look, the decorations of the tables and chairs ( these matched our colour scheme perfectly). The area behind the head table was stunningly decorated, the lighting of the grounds added the extra visual affect, and the palm plants added the extra touch. We were also very happy with the villa choice, as it was extremely big and gave us the extra space we needed, i.e the dancing area. Initially, I was worried about planning a wedding from the U.S.; especially since this was everyone's first trip to Jamaica. After our initial correspondence all my fears went away. From the beginning, you took care of absolutely everything down to the last detail!! I had no idea what I wanted for our wedding other than to get married on the beach. You walked us through every step of the process, from choosing a location and accomodations to the finishing touches. Several times we changed our minds and you were always so patient, offered advice and answered all our questions. I am amazed at how you were able to translate our few ideas in such a beautiful, elegant way that far exceeded our expectations. Everyone is still talking about the decor was for our reception. The elements of the beach with the sand, palm leaves and shells were incorporated so nicely. You were absolutely right about the traditional Jamaican wedding cake. I couldn't get enough of it!! We ate the rest of the second tier before we left for home and now the top tier is in our freezer for our first anniversary. I hope I can wait that long!! Our family & friends loved the gift baskets. They were exactly what we wanted and everyone was pleased to be able to take a little bit of Jamaica home with them. Should you ever need references please don't hesitate to ask. We would like to thank you for helping to make our dream wedding come true. The decorations at the reception and the chapel were exquisite. It was exactly what I had envisioned and dreamed about. The centerpieces for the reception were amazing and the room looked elegant and classy, even better than all those weddings I saw on "Whose Wedding is this Anyway". I want to thank you and you staff for your professionalism and creativity. We appreciate all the hard work .... it was worth it!!! EVERYTHING was absolutely beautiful...everything was exactly as planned and the way we wanted and more. People are still raving that this wedding and reception is the one to beat. I tell ya, while they're trying to do what we did, I've moved onto bigger and better ideas. Not to mention, the love that the couple MUST share, or it won't work. You really made everything that we wanted come to light. The decor, the site, the professionalism, the staff, THE RAIN held off, while the sun shined when needed and the clouds and breeze blew and the right times, now that's GOD and a lot of prayer. Everything was spectacular and I really mean that. I have people asking me, how much we paid to have the florist and staff on site, how much did we pay out in all, etc. The cake was well beyond my expectations! I was LOVING IT!! The lighting couldn't have been any better - now that's money well spent. And to think, we didn't even expect that many people (150 people fed) considering my mom wasn't there but they showed anyhow - now that's love!! Helen, I must say again, I was very impressed and job well done; as if I ever doubted you. I only wish the best for you and all that you do. Planning a wedding can be difficult at the best of times but planning a wedding in Jamaica whilst living in the UK was always going to be challenging! Thank the Lord for Helen G Events! Helen and her team were absolutely fantastic. My sister Angellaand I had quite strong views about what we did and didn't want and our every request was met with a friendly, prompt response - even though sometimes I think we would have tried the patience of a saint!!!
